Download the TFT Starter Kit and follow the steps below to make your mark!
Step 1: Gather Supporters
The first step to launching a TFT university chapter is to spread the word to your friends and classmates. It might also be helpful to get a professor on board. The model is so unique we guarantee you'll enlist a large group of supporters!
Also, don't forget to "like" us on facebook and post on our wall!: http://www.facebook.com/tablefor2
Step 2: Apply for a student group
It's advisable to apply for a student group as early as possible, as it often takes time for new groups to be approved. So get the ball rolling now!
We have sample applications from schools that have already started student groups. Email infoUS@tablefor2.org for further information.
Step 3: Organize an event and get some publicity
Launch your university's TFT chapter with a bang! Events can be as serious or crazy as you like. Let your creativity go wild! And while you're at it, try to get some media exposure through your student newspaper or local media.
Step 4: Start TFT at your school's cafeteria or kiosk, or a local restaurant
This is the biggest challenge, but also the most rewarding. Use the promotional tools in the TFT Starter Kit above to negotiate with your school or a local restaurant. And talk to students at other universities to see how they did it. We also work with a healthy vending machine company, so contact us for additional details!
Remember, you're not alone! There are hundreds of students across North America working towards the same goal. If you have any questions or want to connect to other like-minded peers, just email infoUS@tablefor2.org.
*The campaign will officially launch on January 17th with a conference call hosted by the World Economic Forum. To RSVP, email infoUS@tablefor2.org.
